COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This one-day course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of metrology within the manufacturing environment. Participants will learn essential metrology terminology, drawing types, symbols, and sizes, along with proper dimensioning practices and company-specific examples. The course also includes an overview of common gauge types, measurement tests, and calibration principles, supported by hands-on demonstrations to reinforce practical understanding.

Employees working in machining, fabrication, engineering, and quality roles who need a stronger understanding of measurement fundamentals, blueprint interpretation, and basic GD&T applications.

  • Gauge use demonstrations (fabrication gauges and techniques, green gauges)
