Equip your employees with the skills needed to run your business
This two-day course teaches the fundamental requirements for conducting internal audits in accordance with AS9100D and prepares employees to perform the annual required Internal Audit. Each clause of the standard is explored to ensure participants understand what it means, how to apply it in real-world operations, and how to effectively audit against it. Interactive role-playing audit scenarios provide hands-on experience, foster collaboration, and strengthen the implementation of a robust Internal Audit Program. Participants will also gain insight into how other organizations comply with AS9100D requirements.
Participants will develop skills to interpret and create engineering drawings, including multi-view (orthographic) projections, assembly and detailed drawings, section and auxiliary views. Emphasis is placed on the importance of title blocks, bills of materials, drawing notes, and revision control. The course covers the application and interpretation of dimensions, surface finishes, screw threads and fasteners, welding symbols, and common manufacturing terms and symbols. Students will also gain an understanding of manufacturing processes used to produce mechanical parts and assemblies. In addition, the course provides a foundational introduction to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), including associated symbols and terminology.
This one-day course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of metrology within the manufacturing environment. Participants will learn essential metrology terminology, drawing types, symbols, and sizes, along with proper dimensioning practices and company-specific examples. The course also includes an overview of common gauge types, measurement tests, and calibration principles, supported by hands-on demonstrations to reinforce practical understanding.
This one-day course teaches the fundamentals of individual and organizational leadership. Participants learn to identify essential leadership qualities, overcome common communication issues, and motivate and inspire others. The course prepares leaders at all levels to support and advance company objectives.
This course provides an introduction to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), including an overview of geometric tolerances, their applications, and methods for inspection to GD&T requirements. Instruction is based on the ASME Y14.5, Y14.5.1, and Y14.43 standards.
This two-day course teaches the fundamental requirements for conducting internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and prepares employees to perform the annual required Internal Audit. You bring the questions, we’ll bring the expertise! Lunch & Learns provide an opportunity to connect with a subject matter expert and professionals from other organizations to discuss challenges, share ideas, and gain valuable insights on all things manufacturing.
Participants gain a strong understanding of Lean concepts through engaging presentations and interactive team activities. These principles are reinforced in a live simulation that replicates a realistic, low-volume, high-variety assembly line environment. This hands-on experience sparks powerful “aha!” moments and delivers practical insights that are difficult to achieve through traditional classroom learning.
Root Cause Analysis is a systematic process for identifying “root causes” of problems and an approach for responding to them. It is based on the idea that effective management requires more than “putting out fires” for problems that develop, but finding a way to prevent them. It helps pinpoint contributing factors to a problem so that they can effectively be reduced or eliminated.
